Welcome to our website. We are still adjusting and adding to the site but decided we might not ever get it launched if we waited until we had it all done! If you think you will be able to join us and need a hotel room, we encourage you to check out the Travel section and book your room ASAP. We will have a bus that will carry everyone from the hotel to and from the venue that is about 30 minutes away in a rural area.
We met through the dating app, Hinge. It took a couple of weeks before we were able to meet in person due to the distances between Tallahassee and Valdosta but we talked just about every day, learning a lot about each other including our jobs. Our first date we went to a burger place for lunch and then to a park. There we were able to talk more and just be in each other's presence. After that first in-person date we began the drives back and forth every weekend between Tallahassee and Valdosta. Well, the rest is history right? We both knew a few months after officially dating we had found the one.
As our one-year anniversary approached, we talked about how we wanted to celebrate the occasion. It was a good thing we did not make big plans because Mollie came down with COVID. While Mollie was sick, Ronnie quickly used this opportunity to have lunch with Nelson, Mollie’s dad, and talk with her mom, Judy, about his plans. Mollie was feeling better the next week, so they made plans to celebrate with reservations at one of Mollie’s favorite restaurants, but included taking a walk beforehand in the park they went to on their first date. Ronnie went to the park earlier that day where he helped Nelson and Judy set up an area on the walkway around the lake with rose pedals, Marry Me lighted letters, flowers, and champagne. Nelson and Judy were hidden, with a camera ready, to capture the proposal. Ronnie and Mollie went on to have a fabulous dinner, then we headed to Mollie’s to further celebrate with the Bradshaws. The next day, we headed to Arizona to celebrate with the Marascos.
