An Idaho gal meets a Texan man....in Nebraska! You can't make this stuff up, I'm telling ya! Michael and I have been together for almost 3 years now. We met at a work function and kicked it off as friends and got to know each other really well through conversations about "back home", and shared our values and morals as well as stories of growing up. We realized after spending time together, and going on a few dinner dates, and dates to local events that we had a ton in common, were quite fond of each other, and became official as boyfriend and girlfriend. As time passed, he introduced me to his sons, Skylar, Philip, and Dylan and have got to know them all really well - we've had many adventures along the way and many more to come as a blended family. Trips to Texas, Idaho, and Lincoln - we never have a dull moment! We love to BBQ, listen to music, watch football, and motorsports, attend local events, support our community, and go to church on Sunday's to refuel for our upcoming week. Michael proposed to me on July 20, 2017. We went for a dirt road ride (our favorite) to Summerfield, Kansas and had dinner at The Border Bar & Grill that evening after work, and as we headed home - he stopped the truck at one moment and proposed. I was over the moon shocked and excited! I chose to wait a year before we decided to marry so we both could be sure after all we've been through in prior lives - and surprised him back on our Idaho trip this year when I said "how about November 3rd?" We are excited, grateful, feel very blessed to be where we are at in life - and look forward to spending our special day with all of you who have supported us, have been great friends, and with our loving families. We are amazed that of all the roads we have both been on, that one led us to each other - and keep trying to pinch one another to be sure the other one is real! The Lord blesses people with many things, but he gave us the world when he brought our two souls together.
