Hannah and Andrew both went to school at (The) Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Although they were both Business Majors and undoubtedly had a few classes together, they didn't meet until they were part of a campus church called H2O. Andrew and Hannah both started following Jesus during college, and became very involved in their church throughout their time in college. During March of 2019, Andrew and Hannah signed up for the same spring break trip through their church to Hocking Hills state park, where they met for the first time! As they spent the week hiking and reading their Bibles, they got to know one another as fellow lovers of coffee, kombucha, and niche indie bands. When they both graduated from OSU in the Fall of 2019 (Hannah after 3 ½ years, Andrew after 5 ½) Hannah stayed in Columbus while Andrew left for Army Field Artillery training in Oklahoma. Hannah began support raising to be a Campus Missionary with H2O, while Andrew learned how to shoot cannons (so basically the same thing). Almost a year went by before Andrew came back to visit Columbus, which is when they first got coffee together to catch up. After meeting up at The Roosevelt Coffeehouse in Columbus in late 2020, they realized a few things a little more clearly that day. "Wow, this person is very cute". "Wow, we have a lot of things in common...it's almost creepy". "This person is very kind, a great listener, and is very funny". "Wow, we both want to end up in Seattle one day!". These were some of the thoughts that, at least Andrew, had on that day. As the months went on, Hannah and Andrew continued to text more and more to get to know each other, and with that, began to like one another even more as well. They decided to finally go on a date in April of last year, with both of them very confident this would be the last "First Date" they ever went on... and the rest is history.
