We met on Tinder in January 2020. After talking for about two weeks & rescheduling our first date 3 times, we finally had our first date on February 4th at Chelino’s in OKC. Zack had to go back to work, so it was a short date. Sparks definitely flew. On our second date, we walked around the mall and Super Cao Nguyen & accidentally held hands when I reached for the bag of Kit-kats Zack was holding. He respectfully asked for a first kiss at the end of the date. On our third date after our movie, we sat in his car until 3am & he asked me to be his girlfriend, which I declined until Valentine’s Day. On Valentine's Day, we got dressed up & went out for sushi, where I told him I was his girlfriend. A few days later, we said we loved each other for the first time, but if you ask who said it first, we argue against one another that the other said it first. Two months into our relationship: COVID-19. When everything started shutting down, we were on a trip to Kansas City. We then had to quarantine together. After spending so much time together, we fell VERY hard & VERY fast. We spent as much time together as possible, outside of work & school. In August 2020, my father, Lee, passed away. I then unofficially moved in with Zack & his parents. I lived with them until we got our own place together in April 2022. We then adopted an adorable puppy named Max. In May 2023, we added another member to our family, Henry! I knew Zack was going to propose until he actually got down on one knee. I told my mom & family I thought it would happen once we moved into our house. I wasn’t sure when or how but I knew it would happen soon. Sure enough, Friday April 8th, after doing some grocery shopping, Zack proposed. I went to let Max out and he told me to come back into the living room and as soon as I rounded the corner, he was down on one knee. He proposed with my mother’s engagement ring, which she gave a month earlier to get sized. He had asked for her blessing the week before at a family dinner.
