We have a bicoastal love story, and we met many times before we understood why. Our first encounter was 10 years ago; we were standing next to each other at an open call audition in New York City. Kadeem was kind enough to walk a lost Adrianna back to the subway on 23rd street, and we exchanged numbers but didn't talk. We'd run into each other again in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, where we both attended A.C.T. in the same class. Funny story... the summer before we started, we went to the movies in Oakland and Adrianna forgot where she parked her car. A very frustrated Kadeem thought she was strange, but stayed behind to help her find it, which took over an hour. Over the next 3 years, we earned our Masters together and became very good friends. When we moved back to New York, Kadeem introduced Adrianna as his girlfriend at a bar...we hadn't discussed it beforehand, but Adrianna was happy about it just the same. 4 years and a pandemic later, we got engaged on 10/10/2022 and welcomed our first born son Shaiyah.
