NH offers incredible hiking ranging from easy strolls through the woods to challenging mountain hikes. We’ve listed some of the closest hikes below, but feel free to ask for recommendations! Stinson Mountain Trail - 3.6mi moderate to intense out-and-back hike to the summit of Stinson Mountain. Beautiful views and close enough that the ambitious could hike it from the venue! Three Ponds Trail - Easy out and back or loop. Beautiful, mostly flat hike through the woods. Can get very muddy, especially near the ponds. Approx. 5 min drive from venue Rattlesnake Mountain - 2.5 mi moderate hike to the summit of Rattlesnake Mountain in Rumney, NH. Short, steep hike with stunning views approx 10-15min from venue. World-class crag climbing with routes ranging from 5.3 to 5.15a
Mt. Washington is NH’s highest peak and home of the “World’s Worst Weather.” Visitors can take one of several hiking routes to the summit, drive up on the Auto Road, or ride the iconic Cog Railway. Once at the summit, they can enjoy stunning views of the White Mountains, visit the Mt. Washington Observatory Museum, or grab some food at the visitor center.
Drive the scenic Kancamangus Highway from Lincoln to Conway, NH. The 34.5 mi highway offers spectacular views as it winds through the White Mountains and is known as one of the best places in the country to see fall foliage.
The Flume Gorge in Lincoln, NH is a natural gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty in Lincoln, NH. The walls of Conway granite rise to a height of 70 to 90 feet and are 12 to 20 feet apart. Explore the chasm and see waterfalls, natural pools, and covered bridges as you hike The Flume Trail, a 2-mile loop including boardwalks through the gorge. Please note, there is a fee to hike the trail and buying tickets in advance is recommended.
Green Woodlands offers 70+ purpose-built mountain biking trails in nearby Dorchester, NH. The trails range from easy green to more technical rocky blacks with over 1000ft of elevation differential. Trails are open to Class-1 e-bikes. Our favorite trails are the Norris Hill descent (nearly 900ft of vertical descent with almost no pedaling required), the Captain Norris descent, and the Ledges trail.
There are tons of things to do in North Conway including hiking, biking, rock climbing, and shopping. Notable things to see/do include the waterfalls at Diana's Baths, Cathedral Ledge (a 700ft high ledge with great views that you can hike, bike, drive, or even climb to), and the Conway Scenic Railway.
