Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Downtown/Lake Union

We have a wedding block available at the Courtyard by Marriott which is right by downtown and South Lake Union. This location is 15 minutes driving north of the wedding venue, and 6 minutes south of our welcome drinks brewery. We’ll have a shuttle on Saturday to the wedding departing at 4:30 pm. Washington Athletic Club

Washington Athletic Club is a beautiful spot downtown, and if you want to sneak in a workout they have an indoor pool, track, and basketball court. Press “view” below and your stay under “Cooke and/or Thelen Wedding”. WAC is downtown, and is easy to access via a 45 minute light rail from the airport (University Street stop). It is a 15 minute drive north of the wedding venue, and 15 minutes south of welcome drinks. We will have a smaller shuttle running from WAC to our venue at 4:30 pm 7/27.

Shuttle to the wedding

We will have a shuttle to / from each hotel departing at 4:45 pm on the day of the wedding. Return shuttles will start from the venue at 11 pm and run until midnight. If you are staying at an Airbnb, you’re welcome to take the shuttle - just let Tatiana know so we have a headcount estimate. Getting Around Seattle

After you fly into SEA-TAC, we recommend taking the light rail to downtown, or catching a taxi at the taxi stand (typically faster and less expensive than Uber). To get around town, we often use scooters or e-bike’s you can rent via the Uber “two wheels” app. Many sights are within walking distance of the recommended hotels.
