The Stanley Hotel is about an hour and a half from the Denver International Airport. You can rent a car from the airport and drive straight to the Stanley or stop in Denver which is thirty minuets from the airport. 
April can be a snowy month in this area so rent your car appropriately.
They Stanley Hotel has quite a few different building on property to stay in all with different features. The original Stanley building with is the most historic and does have some spirited rooms. The Lodge which is a one third scale replica of the of the original building (no spirited activity). This is where the wedding will be held. Also note that the Stanley and the Lodge building are "naturally cooled by the mountain breeze" AKA there is no AC, that being said it should not be hot during this time of year. There is also the Aspire building which is the newest and has the spa inside. Lastly the Residences are apartment/house style with full size kitchens and more modern amenities.
