We live in a rural area! If you are from out of state and plan to fly into Washington, the two most common places to fly into are Seattle or Spokane. You could also fly into Wenatchee.
From Seattle: There are several routes you can use to drive to the Methow Valley from Seattle: I-90, Hwy 2 or Hwy 20. If you’re looking for the most scenic mountain drive, we recommend driving over on Hwy 20. However, you can’t go wrong with either Hwy 2 or I-90! This drive will likely take between 4.5-5.5 hours depending on how many stops you take to view the incredible mountains around you.
From Spokane: There are only a few routes to get to the Methow from Spokane. GPS will get you here in about 3.5 hours! If you want a slightly more mountainous route you can drive through Omak and Okanogan. This will take you over Loup Loup Pass.
