Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
The Music Stand was built in 1872 to host concerts on Sunday afternoons. Surrounded by busts of Shaw’s favorite composers—Beethoven, Gounod, Mozart, Rossini, Verdi and Wagner—the Music Stand was a favorite place of Henry Shaw and is still used for concert performances as well as weddings. Made for music and marriages, the iconic structure is well-known throughout St. Louis for its red top and ornate detailing.
