We went to the Christmas lights display at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. We walked through the outdoor display first. We came back inside to snap a photo together. I took a picture for a family and they offered to take a photo of us in return. Brent handed over his phone and quietly said, "On the third picture, I'm going to pop the question." This stranger responded with, "Really?!" and Brent said, "Yep. Sorry!" We were smiling for the camera when I could feel Brent moving. I turned to see him down on one knee! He proposed, we cried, and everyone cheered! The wonderful stranger caught it all on camera, too!

We met through the dating app, Bumble! On the day we matched, we spent the whole day messaging and getting to know each other. That evening, Brent revealed that he lived in Fargo and gave Misty his number. He was surprised to get a text from her the next morning. We met for our first date in St. Cloud and became official a few weeks after that. We spent the next year and half driving to see each other. We moved in together in May 2019 and couldn't be happier!
