Think cocktail attire! Our ceremony will be taking place on grass, so ladies, please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear! The ceremony will take place under a covered tent so rain shouldn't be a concern, however you may wish to bring an outer layer to keep warm depending on the weather. The reception will take place indoors. The wedding party will be wearing olive green suits and champagne dresses so we politely ask that you refrain from wearing these colours, as well as colours reserved for the bride: cream, ivory, or white.
We ask that you please park at the Drummond Building (22 Ryan St Spencerville) and take the shuttle (school bus) to our ceremony venue (1507 Crowder Rd Spenverville). The bus will begin loading the first shuttle at 2:45, with the last shuttle leaving at 3:40. Following the ceremony, the bus will begin shuttling guests back to the reception. We understand that there may be mobility concerns or other reasons you may not wish to take the shuttle. If you choose to drive to the ceremony venue, you will need to park along the road as we need to keep the driveway clear for the bus, wedding party transportation, and DJ, who will need to move swiftly from the ceremony to the reception. Please note that our house is located on the top of the hill so please be mindful of this when parking. If you need to pull into the driveway to drop guests off, please do so swiftly and be mindful of the bus coming in/out, as well as wedding guests.
The ceremony begins at 4pm. We ask that you arrive to the ceremony no later than 3:45pm. The bus will begin shuttling guests from the Drummond Building at 2:45pm, with the last shuttle leaving at 3:40. You may arrive to the ceremony location as early as 3pm. We encourage you to arrive early to socialize, enjoy the open bar, and ensure the shuttle can accommodate everyone.
Please feel free to post pictures of yourselves, the venues, details, etc, but we kindly ask that you do not share any photos of us on social media until either Nick or I have had the chance to do so first.
There will be an open bar at the ceremony with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. There will be a cash bar at the reception. There is an ATM at the venue however we recommend bringing cash just in case.
We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults only event with the exception of Colton and a couple of older children/teens (which were included in your invitations where applicable). We encourage you to use this night as a chance to get out and have fun and truly appreciate you making prior arrangements for your littles so you can celebrate with us!
We kindly ask that you put your phones away and on silent for an unplugged ceremony. We have an amazing photographer and will absolutely share all the photos with you!
