It all started March 2021 when Miranda re-used a pick-up line on Tatum that happened to work out for her the second time around. Although Miranda ghosted Tatum twice at the beginning of their 'talking' phase, Tatum was her persistent self and made up excuses to text Miranda. Their first date, which Tatum didn't realize was an actual date, was in April 2021 at Arizona Wilderness in Downtown Phoenix. Both of them didn't tell their parents they were going out on a 'date' (Martha was in town visiting and Tatum had just moved back in with her parents) which led to their first kiss being interrupted by Tatum's mom bombarding her with phone calls since she was out so late. But regardless of that, one thing led to another and one date a week turned into three, then three turned into a lifetime together.
