Back in 2014, Phillip and I first met when I was a Beauty Advisor with Estee Lauder at Dillard's and he was working on the dock. Fast forward through a year of late night talks at the Estee Lauder counter and countless hours of complaining about math, Phil left Dillard's to pursue a job in his hometown. Almost 6 months later, we were able to reconnect, and Phil asked me to get dinner with him one night after work. Little did he know I spent the night he asked me on a date, gushing about him to Kelsey, Bridesmaid. As cheesy and mushy as it sounds, it was the best first date I have ever been on. We immediately were able to pick up where we had left off just 6 months prior, I honestly felt like he was the only person in the room that night. He was a total gentleman, and didn't even kiss me until our third date (insert eye roll here). Everything about our relationship was perfect to me, except for one thing, the distance. To some it may seem silly, but 45 minutes away really can take a toll on a person, especially when all I wanted to do was spend time with him. after 2 years together, Phil was able to land a job at Warren Water Company in Bowling Green, and just like that the distance was gone. Four months shy of our 3 year anniversary, Phillip asked me to be his wife in the heart of the city where we had met, and without hesitation I said YES! We are both very excited to continue to add to our story as we go, and cannot wait until October.
