Cheers to getting married!

Miranda and Derek met in high school in 2009 as freshman when Derek got switched into Miranda's 8th period Latin class. The two eventually became friends and in typical high school fashion, went on their first date to the movies. For three years the pair dated attending many homecomings, football games, late night drives to Sonic and many more movie dates. They grew up together during those first few years eventually deciding it was time to grow as individuals as they went off to different colleges. ~6 years later~ In 2018, exactly 10 years after Miranda and Derek first met, the two reunited. Derek was in Rhode Island and Miranda was in Tampa as they began to rebuild their friendship. They spoke every single day catching up on the 6 years of each other's lives they had missed. After Derek visited Miranda in Tampa, the two quickly realized their love for each other had never really gone away. Miranda made a trip up to Rhode Island where they spent the entire weekend driving around Providence and visiting Newport Vineyards. The pair began dating (again) on 9/14/18 promising to never take a hiatus from each other ever again.  Miranda and Derek have built a life together in St. Petersburg, Florida with their two fur babies (or monsters given the day) - Bauer and Lily. When the two broke up in high school, they would often say "what's meant to be will always find a way." Those two 15-year old high schoolers are certainly happy that they were right all along.
