Getting to Whistler
Getting to Whistler involves a flight to Vancouver (YVR) and either driving or taking a coach bus from the airport to Whistler Village. If you book accommodations in the village you do not need to rent a car however having a vehicle is useful for exploring the area.

Lodging Information
There are lots of lodging options in Whistler and we don't have a preferred hotel or room block. However, we recommend booking your lodging within a 20-minute walk of either bus stop to the venue. Shuttle
Getting to the Venue

On our wedding day, we will be shuttling guests from Whistler Village and Creekside to the venue and back again at the end of the evening. It is about a 25-minute drive from Whistler Village to the venue. There will be two bus pickup spots. One in Whistler Village and one in Creekside. The links below are map pins for the two bus stops. There will be blue balloons to mark the pickup locations and you're looking for two yellow school buses. Whistler Village Map Link (Gateway Bus Loop): https://maps.app.goo.gl/iHnL4dYugEqzCPFm9 Creekside Map Link (Whistler Creekside Village Bus Stop): https://maps.app.goo.gl/5U39MdR81hZCNNAs7 On the way to the venue, buses will leave Whistler Village promptly at 3:30pm, stop in Creekside at ~3:45pm, and then head to the venue for arrival at around 4pm. DO NOT BE LATE late, the bus will leave without you. On the return trip, one bus will be leaving the venue at ~9:30pm, another will be leaving at 10pm. Both buses will stop at Creekside first and then Whistler Village You may drive to the venue if you wish but PLEASE don't drink and drive. The legal limit in BC is lower than in the states and there are severe consequences for violating these laws as a visitor to the country.
