The dress code is business casual. Dress comfortable but look nice. Good jeans/pants and a nice shirt or a spring/summer dress would work nicely.
Come about 30 minutes early. The ceremony will begin at 5, so everyone should be in their seats by then. If you are late you will be let in the side doors after Mira has walked down the aisle.
Many of you know both Brandon and Mira well and may be wondering which side to sit on. No need to worry! We will not be having a bride and groom side. Instead we will reserve a couple rows in the front of each side for close family members. If you do not fit into this category feel free to sit anywhere you like.
We will be serving a barbeque buffet for dinner from City BBQ. There will be pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans with brisket, corn pudding, and appetizers.
We will be providing alcohol for our of age guests. We will be handing out tickets as you enter for the ceremony. The tickets will allow you one free drink (beer or wine) on us. Each guest will receive one ticket and there will also be a champagne toast. These are on us but you are welcome to purchase more drinks at the bar yourself.
Yes! We will be having a wedding cake. We decided to have a small tiered cake for us and the bridal party. We will be having cupcakes of the same flavor for the rest of our guests.
Both the ceremony and reception are at The Laboratory Mill in Lincolnton, NC. The ceremony will take place, and then you will go up large ramps to enter into the reception area just behind where the ceremony was.
We decided to go with a rustic theme and subtle Disney hints throughout our wedding and reception.
