We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Aubrey- Our story kicked off in the summer of 2016. I was fresh out of high school and, on a whim, decided to take a chance by doing an internship at Higher Vision Church. I didn’t join with the intention of finding the love of my life, but God knew something I didn't. Within days of being in the internship together, we clicked and became great friends. Within weeks, I was sure I was going to marry him one day. Garrett- I was a second year intern at the church when she walked in and changed my life. She knew within weeks, but it took me a little bit longer. Well, it actually took me a lot longer. She, luckily for me, decided to be patient with me. Over time we developed a wonderful foundation through friendship. We got the priviledge to learn who each other were before we even dated. We laughed, cried, and everything inbetween for months as just friends. Being in the internship together we served in the church, studied the Word, went on missions trips, and much more. We finally went on our first date to a Dodgers game in June 2017. From that point on it has been the best adventure either of us could have hoped for. At the end of a cute dinner and miniature golf date early February 2018, we officially became a couple. Not wanting to say I loved her until I knew I wanted to marry her, I waited until June 2018 when I realized I didn’t want to ever be without her again for the rest of my life. Since then we have been working to complete online college together. Every step of the way we have been blessed. We currently are separated by distance (Garrett in Texas and Aubrey in California). Even with the distance we are closer than ever. We got engaged on August 15, 2020 in downtown Fort Worth, sharing the same date as Garrett's graduation from college, and his Grandpa Ming's birthday! We are really so excited for this season, and are so excited to share our special day with you guys! Here's to the beginning of a new chapter as we continue writing our story!
