Miles and Julie met in the winter of 2013 at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Miles had just returned from a semester abroad in Alba, Italy, and Julie had finished her first semester at the college after transferring in junior year, making lifelong friends and enjoying all that St. Mary's had to offer. While they shared economics courses and similar friends for a couple of months, it would not be until May of that year that they started dating. Julie invited Miles to join her at a concert where she knew none of the words to any of the songs, but all of her friends were going so she couldn't NOT go. Miles obliged and was subsequently thrown into meeting all of her closest friends. They spent that summer seeing each other where they could and counting down the days until they could head back to St. Mary's. Since then, Miles and Julie have gone through the ups and downs of a long-distance relationship post-college, being in Baltimore as twenty-somethings and living with friends, moving in together, and adopting the craziest dog from BARCs. They look forward to continuing to build a life together and creating memories with friends and family.
