Our adventure begins!

It was a perfect Arizona February day, warm enough for a pool party. It was my Freshman year at Arizona State University, and Bailey, the best man, introduced us at the pool party and we spent the rest of the day together. After the party came to an end, Michael took me to the free concert ASU puts on every year called "Devilpalooza," where this year, country star Hunter Hayes was headlining. That evening, we attended the concert and when Hunter Hayes came onto the stage, Michael grabbed my hand in his and we made our way to the front of the crowd. When he played the only song we both knew, titled "Wanted," we shared our first kiss. And the rest is history!

Just shy of six years later, in January 2022, we took a ski trip to Whistler Blackcomb. During our second day on the mountain, the group told me we had to ride to the highest point at Whistler for an incredible view, the perfect backdrop for group pictures. Jackson, brother of the bride, pointed out a snowy peak we should climb for photos. Michael and I climbed the hill and I turned around to see no one had followed. The whole group stood below with their iPhones pointed at us and I yelled down the hill for them to come on up and see the amazing 360 degree mountain view. Little did I know, Trevor, friend and conveniently a photographer, was hiding on a hill across from us, ready to capture the moment. Michael got down on one knee, ski boots and all, and began his heartfelt speech. Before he could finish his second sentence, I was already screaming “Are you kidding me?! YES!" I let him say a few more words before anxiously pulling him off his knee, kissing him, and asking him to put the ring on my finger. It was a moment neither of us will ever forget! We are beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you all! What better place to get married than in a ski town?! Mountaintops are kind of our thing. Can't wait to see you in Breckenridge!
