If you're looking for a delicious treat late at night or early in the morning and you want to take in some beautiful New Orleanian architecture while you enjoy some beignets, Cafe du Monde is the place for you! Located across the street from Jackson Square, Cafe du Monde is a staple for folks visiting from out of town. After you're finished with your beignets and coffee, take a stroll down the street to the French Market and around the French Quarter to experience all that is NOLA.
For out of town guests staying at the Hampton Inn or Hotel Indigo, you can walk right outside of the hotel doors and hop on the street car. Enjoy a street car ride all through the Uptown of New Orleans, admiring the beautiful homes that line St. Charles Avenue or take the streetcar into downtown and hop off on Canal Street where you'll find shopping and all kinds of delicious NOLA restaurants.

Elizabeth LOVES the architecture in New Orleans. It's BEAUTIFUL. Take a drive through Uptown, Mid City, Garden District, and along Magazine Street. (You should really ask Mike for directions- E just remembered those names off the top of her head.)
