Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP no later than April 20, 2025.

Question

What is the name and address of the venue?

Answer

Our venue is at Eden Gardens, and the address for Eden Gardens is: 3900 Eden Gardens Lane, Moorpark, CA 93021.

Question

Are both the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes - the ceremony and reception will both be at Eden Gardens.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:30PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm.

Question

Is the ceremony and/or reception located indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All aspects of the wedding are entirely outdoors.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - please dress in formal attire. We politely ask that you consider the color scheme of our wedding while picking out your attire, (greens, dark reds/burgundy, neutral tones (e.g. beige, cream, tan) and/or black) but it is not mandatory.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Each save-the-date and formal invitation is addressed to anyone invited on the envelope you receive it in. If only your name was listed on the envelope, you are the only invitee and there is not a plus one included in your invite. If you and your significant other were both listed on the envelope, you are both invited. If a family name was listed on the envelope, (e.g. The Jones Family) then your entire household at the address you received the invitation to are invited. Anyone not listed on the envelope is unfortunately not going to be included on our guest list. While we would love everyone to have a plus one, due to the large size our wedding, we have reserved plus ones for particular guests only.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, only the three total children (child of the bride and two children within the very immediate family) have been invited, as they are actively involved in the wedding itself. This is merely due to the size of our wedding, but we send all of your children our love!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot directly on site with ample parking.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar. You will be able to enjoy beer, wine, champagne as well as three different preselected cocktails during both cocktail hour (5:30pm-6:30pm) as well as during the entirety of the reception (the bar will be open at reception from about 6:45pm-10:00pm).

Question

Where are you registered? Where should we bring or send our wedding gift to?

Answer

Thank you for choosing to consider aiding us in our new chapter together! Kindly click on the Registry tab here on our website to contribute to our honeymoon fund. Otherwise, we will have a card box available next to our guest book prior to the ceremony, and also during cocktail hour.

Question

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:30pm to ensure you are fully seated by 5:00pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. The ceremony will conclude at approximately 5:30pm, and cocktail hour will immediately follow. During cocktail hour, the bride, groom, and preselected friends and family will detour for photos, as the rest of the guest make their way to the pavilion for drinks and hor d'oeuvres. The cocktail bar will close at 6:25pm to transition to the reception area. Reception will open at 6:30pm where the DJ will ask everyone to be seated. At 6:45pm, the bride and groom will make their grand entrance, immediately followed by their first dance. Immediately following the bride and groom's first dance will be a dance between the bride and her son, then the groom and his mother. The dinner buffet will then open around 6:55pm, and everyone will be seated for dinner and socializing. Toasts will be made at approximately 7:40pm, which will lead to a group photo on the dance floor. Immediately following this photo, open dancing will begin. The bride and groom will make a short disappearance during sunset for more photos (approximately 8:15pm), and will quickly return during open dancing. At approximately 8:45pm, the bride and groom will cut the cake, and then the bride will do the bouquet toss. Once the bouquet toss has completed, open dancing will then occur until the end of reception. The reception will end at 10:30pm. All guests must be off the property at the conclusion of the reception. Last call for the bar will be at 9:30pm, and the bar will close entirely at 10pm.

Question

I am not local to Moorpark, CA and have questions about flights and hotels.

Answer

Our local airports are Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Bob Hope Airport. LAX will likely be the preferred airport for traveling with the most available flights. LAX is 48 miles away from Eden Gardens and about a 1 hour, 10-minute drive (without traffic). Bob Hope Airport is a smaller airport located in Burbank, CA and is slightly closer to Moorpark, CA than LAX- but there are far lesser flights coming in and out of this airport compared to LAX. Bob Hope Airport is 36 miles away from Eden Gardens and is about 40-minute drive away from Eden Gardens (without traffic). Please consider booking a hotel in Moorpark, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks or Westlake Village. A few hotel recommendations are: - Fairfield Inn & Suites (14350 White Sage Road, Moorpark, CA 93021; 1.9 miles away from Eden Gardens (approximately a 5-minute drive) - Grand Vista Hotel (999 Enchanted Way, Simi Valley, CA 93065; 7.7 miles away from Eden Gardens (approximately an 11-minute drive) - Westlake Village Inn (31943 Agoura Road Westlake Village, CA 91361; 12 miles away from Eden Gardens (approximately a 15-minute drive) - Four Seasons Hotel (2 Dole Drive, Westlake Village, CA 91362; 14 miles from Eden Gardens (approximately a 20-minute drive).

Question

I am not local to Moorpark, CA and have questions about restaurants and things to do while in town.

Answer

While there are so many wonderful restaurants locally, some we can recommend are: M on High (an option in Moorpark owned by the company catering our wedding), The Landing Bar & Grill (an option in Westlake Village located right on the lake with sushi and other upscale food options). Some recommendations for Italian food are: Basta (Agoura Hills), Made In Italy (Westlake Village), Tuscany's (Westlake Village), Nonna (Thousand Oaks) or Casa Nostra (Westlake Village). Cisco's (Thousand Oaks) is great for Mexican food, Woodranch BBQ & Grill (Agoura Hills) is great for barbeque, Lure (Westlake Village) is great for seafood & CiCi's (Westlake Village; this is our favorite place, but the wait can be lengthy!) or Marmalade Cafe (Westlake Village) are both great for breakfast. Other popular local spots are Moody Rooster (Westlake Village) and Selvin's (Thousand Oaks). For things to do, please consider: Crawford's Social (Westlake Village) or Finney's Crafthouse (Westlake Village) for drinks at a bar setting. Stonehaus (Westlake Village) is great for drinks in a more casual, outdoor setting with live music. Cork Dork (Westlake Village) offers a more upscale drinking experience. For music and dancing, try The Canyon Club (Agoura Hills), Louie's (Westlake Village) or Sunset Terrace (Thousand Oaks). Try Lucky Strike Moorpark for bowling, arcade food & drinks, or Dave & Busters in Thousand Oaks for an arcade and drinks. Try 101 Escape Rooms (both Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks), K1 Speed Indoor Racing (Thousand Oaks) or Oxnard Levity Live (in Oxnard for comedy shows) for other activities. For shopping, try The Oaks Mall (Thousand Oaks) or the Camarillo Outlets (Camarillo). For tourist activities, please consider traveling further south to Hollywood/Los Angeles (roughly 1 hour south) or up to Santa Barbara (roughly 1 hour north).

Question

I have more questions about your wedding. May I contact you?
