Question

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Cocktail is indoor-outdoor, but the reception is under a tent on the property. Please wear heels suitable for grass!

Is the ceremony at a separate location?

Answer

Yes, our ceremony will take place at Immaculate Conception Church in Mahwah. You will have time to check-in to your hotel room after the ceremony and catch the hotel shuttle over to the venue.

Can I take the shuttle to/from the hotel to the reception, even if I'm not staying at the hotel?

Answer

The shuttle is for hotel guests, but there will most likely be a few extra seats. Ubers are not available from the venue unless you schedule them in advance (recommended), you may want to take the shuttle back to the hotel and ride-share from there.

Can I Uber home from the reception?

Answer

Since Skylands Manor is tucked away in the woods, ordering an Uber once you are at the property is not possible. You can order an Uber when coming to the venue from the hotel, just not on the return trip back to hotel. You can schedule a ride in advance (our After Party ends at midnight) or hop on the shuttle to the hotel.
