Amelia and Jeanette met at Berkeley High School, where Jeanette successfully led Amelia to an A in Mr. McHugh's Physics Final using nothing but two cardboard boxes, 50 paper clips, a pair of softball socks, and pure, unadulterated willpower. This cemented a friendship that has spanned 21 years, 18 miscellaneous athletic teams, and 143 rounds of golf (and counting!). Amelia's at home on the links, but loves gardening, cooking various types of noodle-based dishes, rooting for her hometown SF sports teams (Go Giants!) and hanging out with Suki, her 16-year old cat.
Michael Johnson
Best Man
Mike and Michael met at La Jolla High School where they started their morning ritual of walking laps around campus until they got dizzy. They became fast friends and joined the football team and Swim Team, while also working together to create shoes to walk on water (which technically worked, but were made quite poorly). Mike and Michael went their separate ways for college, but never lost touch. Michael is a musician (jazz saxophonist) and middle school music teacher who loves running, playing Australian football, hiking, and playing with his 2 year old daughter.
