Question

What does "Dressy Casual" mean for a dress code?

Answer

Here is a link that gives a very well put definition on what dressy casual means and ideas of what to wear. https://www.lifesavvy.com/2435/dress-code-guide-what-does-dressy-casual-mean/ NOTE: Please be mindful the wedding venue will be outdoors and the ground will have uneven surfaces. Most of the venue flooring consists of wood chips, gravel, rocks, and grass, excluding the dance floor.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In the Peshastin/Leavenworth area in the month of September, temperature averages are a high of 73F and low of 47F. Our weather expectation is we will have a warm afternoon start at the wedding and then will cool down as it gets later in the evening. Average rainfall in September is 1.3 inches for the month. We do not expect any rain but being in Washington, anything can happen. We will have wedding tents on standby if needed. Keep an eye on the weather leading up to wedding day. Dress accordingly.

Question

Can I drive and park at the wedding venue?

Answer

The wedding venue will have plenty of open parking spaces. For those who do not want to drive to the wedding, there will transportation options available including scheduled complimentary shuttle services (to and from downtown Leavenworth) and taxi/ride share information. Refer to our "Schedule" section for continued updates and information.

Question

How is cell reception?

Answer

The wedding location is approximately 12 miles outside of Leavenworth on the US Highway 97. Because of the location, cell phone reception may vary depending on your cellular carrier. We are currently looking into Wi-Fi at the venue. More to come.

Question

How long is the drive to the wedding venue?

Answer

97 Rock House is located right in the heart of Washington State. If you are coming from the West side near SeaTac airport or Paine Field airport, the commute will take approximately 2 hours - 2 hours and 45 minutes going East (depending on traffic). If you are coming from Spokane airport or area, it will take approximately 3 hours - 3 1/2 hours driving West (depending on traffic). If you are lodging in the Leavenworth area, it will take approximately 14-18 minutes to arrive at the wedding venue. Please take these times inconsideration if driving the day of the wedding.
