We’re getting married!

Amanda and Mike met when they were at work. Amanda was working for Meijer and Mike was working for 7up. They started talking one day just on a whim, and never looked back! They started dating on February 8th in 2019. But were officially dating when he gave her a hoodie and asked to be boyfriend and girlfriend. He met Amanda’s son Braxton later that year, the first time they met he sat on at the dinner room table and help Braxton with his kindergarten homework. It was in the moment Amanda knew that he was the one she was going to marry. Braxton and Mike have an separable bond and Braxton wants to be just like Mike. Shortly after moving in together they adopted a cat. His name is Megatron, and he is quite hefty. In the summer of 2020, they welcomed in their daughter Ensley Raine Nickelson. Shortly after Ensley was born the recused another cat from a tree and welcomed her in the the family. We named her Starscream. On March 20, 2021 Mike planned a trip to Chicago with Amanda, Ensley, and her sister Tarren. He took them to Amanda’s favorite places in the city from the bean to the Disney store to Molly’s cupcake and then while in the aquarium at the penguin exhibit, her life changed forever. He dropped to one knee and asked to marry her. They got another pet shortly after getting engaged, a dog and was named Ironhide. From then on we have had to face many ups and downs together but we just keep growing stronger together.
