Yum! One of our favorite spots in town. They have delicious options with local ingredients. It’s your classic pub food, but elevated. For an appetizer, you have to try the poutine!
We eat at Bardenay probably more than any other restaurant in Boise. Our favorite things on the menu include the grilling cheese, the trout entree, and the ahi salad. It is located on Basque street which has so much character. DISCLAIMER: Bardenay makes their drinks incredibly strong!
One of the cutest coffee shops in town. This ain’t Starbucks folks. This is coffee coffee. The baristas are sweet and the gift shop is super fun to browse.
THE WINGS ARE PHENOMENAL! At 13th Pub and Grill you are surrounded by the charming North End restaurants and parks, which has a very comforting and small town feel.
Absolutely delicious! You have to get the loaded fries! Talia has the pleasure of working with the stellar family that owns Clucks, which has certainly not helped deter Mike from ordering it three plus times a week.
The family that owns this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. Talia worked for this sweet family over the summer and was treated with many of the fabulous things on their menu. Certified is known for their breakfast sandwiches, and their house made English muffins! Don’t pass this gem up!
This is for the lovely vegans! High Note is a completely vegan restaurant with delicious options. Our favorites include their breakfast burrito and their sandwich/tomato soup combo! You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy what this restaurant has to offer.
This sandwich shop is the bees knees! They use fresh ingredients and have food for everyone. Whether your vegan or a complete carnivore.
A go to brewery of ours!
One of our favorite breakfast spots. This little restaurant has a small cafe in the front, but if you walk around the side of the building there is a full restaurant. Definitely recommend!
Nice north end park with easy hike up hill that gives an accessible view of the city without taking you into the mountains.
The Table Rock area offers challenging hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Most users access these trails from the Old Idaho Penitentiary parking lot, where there is a kiosk and directional signage for the trails. The Table Rock area offers stunning views of Boise and the Treasure Valley, and is a favorite among trail enthusiasts for sunset hikes and rides. The Table Rock area should be avoided when the temperatures are above freezing during winter months, as well as after spring and summer rain storms, as the soils contain significant amounts of clay, and trail damage occurs easily at such times.
