Consider that the venue and hotel are very close to Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Uber, Lyft and water taxi/water trolleys are easy to find when you need them.

The venue has a museum?

Answer

The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society is an original building in Fort Lauderdale. Built in 1905, this New River Inn offers a vintage Southern Style complete with a museum upstairs, which will be open for viewing more about the history of Fort Lauderdale. Just don’t bring drinks and food upstairs please.

The wedding guests will have access to the entire interior of the venue, making it ideal no matter what nature throws our way.

There are parking garages near the rail road tracks. It you opt to park at a roadside meter using your auto tag number, leave the ticket on the dashboard and be sure not to let the time runneth over, they will ticket you!
