Powell's City of Books
The World's Largest Independent Bookstore! It takes up an entire square block in downtown Portland, and we always love a chance to wander around there. It's pretty impossible to not come out with a book in hand :)
Forest Park
This is a huge, forested park within the city of Portland. There are miles of trails with beautiful views all around.
International Rose Test Garden
Did you know that Portland is nicknamed the "City of Roses"? This is just one of the reasons--our thousands of rose bushes and hundreds of varieties that are located in Washington Park at the International Rose Test Garden.
Portland Farmers Market at PSU
Portland State University hosts a farmer's market every Saturday morning, year-round. There's a lot of local fruits and vegetables, delicious food vendors, bakery and coffee carts, and snacks. It's one of our favorite things to do on Saturdays.
Multnomah Falls
Oregon's tallest waterfall, and a beautiful tiny hike and view! It's about a 30 minute drive from downtown.
