Sarah and Michelle have known each other since junior high. We partnered together in tennis and drivers training. Although we each attended rivalry colleges, (CMU vs WMU) we managed to find many other similarities (Irish music festivals, mugs at The Mitten, our Catholic faith, and Jane Austen) as we rekindled our friendship when we both found ourselves back in the Ludington area. We have supported each other through many ups and downs like true friends do.

Erica became one of my adventure buddies shortly after she moved here to Ludington about a dozen years ago. The friendship was locked in when we discovered we shared the same birthday! We have celebrated almost each year together ever since that discovery. One of our biggest adventures is fishing on Lake Michigan.

When they say opposites attract? We are the example! And that’s why Opal is soo fun to have in my life. Opal will forever be the one who tries to instill some fashion sense in me. We do have a mutual love for the beach though. So even though she left Michigan for sunny Florida, I now have more beach opportunities.
Tara McGrath

Tara is my oldest niece and basically- she stole my ❤️. We bonded because I spent so much time with her at a young age. Then she picked up my favorite sport of soccer and of course I had to continue keep watch over her. She is still playing in fact at Cleary University.
Denton Fitz

Will the Best Man speech be be short and sweet or long and sassy? We will take your bets. Profits will be split to help with the honeymoon. Denton is one of Scott’s many cousins. One of those cousins that’s practically a sibling and whom you can always count on. They’ve had many hunting adventures together.

Brian is Scott’s older brother. I’m sure you’ll hear Brian grumble at least once about how spoiled his younger brother is. What do you expect with a 5 year age gap? They at least share a passion for deer hunting. We didn’t make you wear a tuxedo or a suit Brian, so try to smile?
Leo Hemmer

Son of Michelle’s youngest brother Justin and sister-in-law Allison. Leo makes his grand entrance at 2 1/2 years old. His dimpled smile will melt your heart ladies. They all reside in Virginia so we are soo grateful they are able to be part of our special day.
Sikke Nekola
Flower Child
Sikke is cute as a button as he plans to decorate the path for Michelle to walk down with flower petals. 3 1/2 years old and son of the Matron of Honor. Michelle is also his proud Godmother. Sikke is into trucks, tractors and dinosaurs.
Berlie Karmeisool-Curtis

Berlie will also be littering the path with flower petals along side his real-life pal Sikke. Another 3 1/2 year old and son of Bridesmaid Erica. Berlie is into tractors and Spider-Man.

Not only is he a man of the cloth and capable of legally performing the ceremony, Mick is a dear friend of ours. Mick and Michelle know each other through the American Legion as they are both army veterans. But that’s just where it started… 😄 There is peace in knowing that your marriage ceremony is being conducted by someone you know and admire and respect.
