YES! Hurricane Helene did some damage in Banner Elk and the surrounding areas but our wedding venue was thankfully not touched. We are still having our wedding but we want all of our guests to be safe when traveling to the venue! Please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling to the venue as there will be delays due to some roads only having a one road lane!
Please arrive by 2:00 PM and give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat. Guests are not allowed in once the ceremony starts.
Unfortunately due to limited venue capacity, we cannot accommodate additional guest. If you received a plus one, it will appear on your invitation. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Although we love children, the venue has limited capacity. Please enjoy this “date night” on us for this adult only celebration. Select children will be accommodated on an invitation only basis. Please refer to your personal invitation for further clarification.
Yes! Many of our guests are from out of town so we blocked hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn in Boone, NC. Just note that the hotel will be approximately 25 minutes away from the venue. The Best Western in Banner Elk is not accepting hotel reservations as they have no running water which was affected by hurricane Helene.
Parking is limited to only 50 cars in the lot. If you decide to drive, we highly suggest carpooling. Take in consideration that the venue is up on a mountain and may contain winding roads depending on where you are coming from; therefore, we highly suggest a designated driver!
There is nothing better than celebrating our wedding day with you. If you would like to provide us with a gift, we would greatly appreciate a contribution to our honeymoon fund!

YES! Our two goldendoodles, Koda and Nellie, will be present during the wedding! Our dogs are friendly and they will be off leash.
