We're obsessed with this brewery! The indoor space is somewhat small, so may not be the best idea for a nice day, but they offer to-go cans/growlers! Michelle's Favorites: Any milkshake IPA Jeff's Favorites: Morbidly Obese Pug or Son of Juice
Best outdoor patio in the city. You literally can't go wrong with any bottle of wine or pasta dish.
Our favorite neighborhood dive bar! Michelle and Bridesmaid Alecia have been known to drink them clean dry out of Vandermill Totally Roasted cans.
If you're looking to splurge on a steak with a seriously chic ambiance, look no further.
Michelle & Jeff's FAVORITE place for small plates influenced by cuisine from all over the world. Their cocktails are amazing.
Peruvian influenced small plates. Best salmon ceviche ever. If you love mezcal- ask for the Matcha Pichu (not on the menu). It's the most delicious mix of matcha flavors and mezcal.
Known to have one of the best burgers in the city. There is typically a very long wait, however stop by before bar hopping through the west loop or heading to a park or other sight seeing location! They will text you when your table is ready. If you want the same burger at a more casual location, check out any one of their satellite "Small Cheval" locations, or order "to-go" off caviar!
Great brews and great food. What more can I say.
If you love experimental sour beers- this brewery is for you!
Great brewery. Maid of honor Kim was found here one afternoon after she made best friends with the brew staff.
Michelle's favorite pizza place. Order takeout or dine in and BYOB!
Tied with Seadog- this is one of Michelle and Jeff's favorite sushi places! We order the 3 Amigos roll literally every time. BYOB
Tied with Yuzu for our favorite sushi place, but Seadog has a better outdoor patio! BYOB. (there's a liquor store just a few blocks down).
Really cool small plates spot. Go for the chef's tasting menu if you want to splurge. They brew their own beer and have some really imaginative cocktails.
Fun, edgy spot with a rooftop patio. Jeff lived diagonal to this spot when he and Michelle first met and they hung out here quite a bit in the beginning!
Island themed speakeasy (if you're really trying to party. seriously their cocktails are deadly). Enter from the alley (you can easily find it on google maps now).
Really well known past Al Capone hangout. You have to be quiet while they're playing music but it is really good.
Really cute low rise rooftop that usually has a good wine menu.
