Getting Around

As someone who doesn't have a car, Michelle recommends not renting one, especially if you are comfortable with ride share (Uber/Lyft). Constantine (and pretty much anyone else who lives in Atlanta) may have a different opinion. From Airport to Hotel: Follow the signs at Ground Transportation to MARTA (subway). Get on the first train that will leave (either the Red or Gold line, you literally cannot get on the wrong one) and take it North to the Midtown (10th Street) station. From there, the hotels are a 2-4 block walk to the North. Bring your compass (or use Google). Once in Midtown, you can get to most of the places we recommend visiting on foot. If you want to go to the sites in Downtown (e.g. George Aquarium, World of Coke, Centennial Park), they are walking distance from the Peachtree Center MARTA stop (go South on the Gold/Red line from Midtown). Uber/Lyft are readily available as well. For those who prefer to use a Town Car Service, Atlantic Limousine offers transportation to/from the airport to the hotels for $117.50 all inclusive.
