We matched on OK Cupid and a couple days later we met in-person. Our first date was at a wine and cheese event in Pioneer Square. The conversation was easygoing and it felt like we had known each other for a very long time. Our first date technically lasted for 4 days since we never parted and we spent each day talking about random things and eating delicious food. Fun Fact: I swiped right because Bobby and my dog have the same name. Imagine the confusion we have on a day to day.
3 years later after a 1 year extension on a 2 year timeline, Bobby proposed. We were never in a rush but it seemed natural to make a commitment to each other after having spent 99% of our days together. On the day we had picked up the ring he prepared roses and chocolates for Valentine's Day but I assumed he would give me the ring on our anniversary day a week later. I was in pjs at home pouring champagne when Bobby appeared on a bended knee with a small box in hand. For a few minutes there were no words but tears of joy coming from both of us. Once we got over our emotions, I said "yes, of course I'll marry you."
