What's your COVID safety plan?

Answer

Since it seems like this thing isn't going away, let's at least work to ensure our day doesn't become a superspreader event! The ceremony will be outdoors, reception dinner will be indoors, and we will move back outdoors for after-dinner dancing. We are asking that all guests who are eligible for the COVID vaccine be fully vaccinated prior to attending our celebration. If you have made the decision to forego vaccination, please RVSP "decline".

Please RSVP by August 8th, 2022.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please aim to arrive at the ceremony around 10:30AM. This allows some wiggle room for everyone to get up the mountain, park, and walk to the venue (and everyone moves just a little bit slower at altitude!)

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average September daily high in Boulder is 79 degrees and September is considered part of the dry season. That said, the mountains are always unpredictable and we will be outdoors, so come prepared for unexpected weather.

What is the altitude at Boulder? Sunrise Amphitheater?

Answer

Boulder is located at about 5300 feet, and Sunrise is right around 7000 feet. This is something to keep in mind when deciding if you might want to arrive a day early to adjust (and a casual reminder for when you start feeling tipsy after half a drink!)

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we want this to be a very family focused wedding, we would prefer if you do not bring kids. If traveling without kids would not be possible for you, please reach out to us directly and we can figure something out!

How should we fill the time between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Since just about all of our guests are from outside the Boulder area, we wanted to include some time in the day to make sure everyone gets the chance to appreciate all Boulder has to offer! Check out our "Things to Do" page for some starter ideas.
