When is the RSVP deadline?

July 19th, 2023 RSVP here on our website! Your name will be listed under either your full first name or nickname/preferred name. Type in one name at a time.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

To help make this an unforgettable evening, we kindly ask that our guests dress to impress! Formal attire: Ladies-a floor length or elegant formal dress, Gentlemen-a dark matching suit. Our reception will be held outside along the lakeshore. Friendly reminder for the privacy of the couple, we ask that you refrain from any photography of the home & ceremony

How do I submit my RSVP

Answer

Click on the RSVP tab here on our wedding website and enter your first and last name. Enter just one name at a time. (Your first name may be listed under your preferred nickname). All invited guests in your party will be listed. You will be prompted to RSVP to the ceremony first and indicate if you are using transportation from one of our two hotels. Select continue to finish your RSVP on the next page, indicating your meal choices and any dietary restrictions & click submit!

Will parking be available at the reception?

Answer

Parking will not be available at the reception being that it’s located at our private residence. Transportation will be provided from Minnewashta Elementary School to the reception venue for your convenience - shuttle departures will begin at 5:15pm to the reception. Following the ceremony at St. Mary’s please park at the Minnewashta school lot located at 26350 Smithtown Rd Shorewood, MN 55331. Once your shuttle arrives at the Spell residence, guests will find their seating info, a refreshment and our story in our front garden.

Are your venues Non Smoking?

No smoking permitted at the church or the reception venue

I’m staying at a hotel. Will transportation be available?

Answer

If you are staying at one of the accommodations we have a room block at (Minneapolis Marriott West or Westin Edina Galleria) transportation will be provided on August 19th for your convenience, departing at 2:45pm from the hotels. Guests will be transported from these two hotels to St. Mary’s and following the ceremony from the church to the reception. Please indicate on the RSVP page online how many guests will be utilizing our transportation under your chosen accommodation.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If a plus one has been extended to you, their name will be alongside yours on the invitation. All invited guests are also listed online under your RSVP and on your personal wedding invitation/envelope. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
