We are getting married!

Michael and Peyton met through a series of coincidences. On April 8, 2017, Michael was out at a Miami nightclub with a few friends. There he spotted an old friend from college who was now living in Miami and Just so happened to be Peyton’s new roommate. The pair got to know each other a bit and hit it off pretty well, but went their separate ways. A few months later, Michael picked up the phone and reached back out to Peyton to ask her on a date. It took persistence, charm, and some cuteness from his french bulldog puppy Miley, but then Peyton agreed to meet him at happy hour with a few friends in tow. After that night the two became inseparable and their love story began to take off.

In 2021, Michael decided he wanted to propose to Peyton and he was determined to make the proposal a surprise. After asking her Parents for their blessings, he planned a trip that was to take place in January of 2022 but decided he did not wait that long so he came up with a new plan. Michael then started planning a winery tour as a belated birthday celebration and on November 21, 2021 he invited a few friends from both Charlotte and Miami to join him for some wine and lunch at Davesté Winery, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Peyton thought she was just going to a winery with friends and little did she know her life was about to change! Michael worked with the winery team to plan something that Peyton would not suspect. A member of the winery came to their table and unbeknownst to Peyton gifted them a picnic that had been planned for someone else but due to a “cancellation” they wanted to see if Michael and his party would like to enjoy the feast. Peyton of course still having no idea what was happening agreed the picnic sounded fun. The vineyard staff let Michael and his party know a photographer (actually hired by Micheal) was also taking holiday photos of other patrons and if they were interested they should get a photo done as well. Peyton still having no idea what was happening even when the photographer started taking photos of a few people in their group. The photographer then asked if Peyton and Michael would like a photo of just the two of them and that is the moment that Michael got down on one knee and asked Peyton to Marry him!! Michael left no detail undone and he also had a videographer standing by so that when the proposal happened it would be captured for all of their friends and family to see. It was a picture perfect Proposal!
