We can't wait to spend a long weekend in paradise with all of you! We'd love for you to join us in Aruba from May 16th to 19th. We will be hosting "events" Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can also make this into a longer vacation - the hotel will extend our discounted room block rate for 2 days prior and 5 days after these dates!
No! Feel free to stay wherever you'd like. For your convenience, we've blocked rooms at the Hilton (where we will be staying with our family). We've also listed two other nearby hotels that we recommend: Barcelo & The Hyatt Recency. If you book the Barcelo, make sure to use our discount code- LOVE518.
Passport: YES, passports are required to travel into and out of Aruba. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the trip. If you need to renew or apply for a passport, we suggest you plan ahead, as the processing timeline typically takes about 6-8 weeks. Visas are not required for travelers with an American, Australia, or EU issued passport.
For men, think lightweight suits and dress shoes. Ties optional, bowties welcome. For ladies, think beachy but elegant; light colors are preferred. The wedding will take place on the beach, but not in the sand, so feel free to wear your high heels, ladies!
Yes, if you have food allergies, please indicate these on the RSVP card. If you are vegetarian, we will have vegetarian options available.
The US dollar is widely accepted in Aruba, and there should be no need to convert your US currency. The Euro and Australian dollar, however, will need to be converted to either US dollar or Aruban florin.
When you leave Aruba, plan to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to your flight departure. If this sounds like a long time, it is...but for good reason! US customs are actually performed in the Aruba airport before you board your plane instead of back in the US. That means that once you land back home, there is no need to stand in long customs lines.
