Question

Can I drink in the streets?

Answer

YES! Downtown historic Savannah has an open container law. This means pour your drink in a plastic cup and enjoy a to-gosie. At bottomless brunch - ask for a to-gosa! Feeling hot - grab a slushy from Wet Willies! Most all establishments have to-go cups ready, so do not hesitate to ask. (Anything from Riverstreet - Forsyth park is fair game)

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The Beaulieu - a family owned house. Keeping it simple, the entire wedding will take place here. See "Schedule" tab for additional information and addresses.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Entirely outside - but don't worry we have a tent! Please plan accordingly with footwear, as everything will be on grass and sometimes the ground is uneven. Ladies may also want to consider a wrap or shawl because it can get chilly at night!

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

This is entirely up to you. Most of Savannah is walkable. There will be transportation to and from the wedding day events. Uber/Lyft is easily accessible within Savannah.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes, we will have Savannah trolleys to and from the venue. Check "Schedule" tab for further information. **We want to keep our guests safe. Please take the trolly - we don't need any DUI's. The venue is a 15 minute drive from downtown Savannah.

Can I wear jeans?

Answer

No - you know who you are. Don't do it.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Since we have huge extended families, we’ve chosen to limit our guest list to ten-year-olds and over for the wedding. We hope you understand. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help! Should you need childcare, we recomend: Care.com, Excellent Nanny Care, or Guardian Angels. All of these companies are reputable, licensed, and bonded.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We paid for a very good photographer! Please look up from your phones and save the pictures to pre and post ceremony. Don't worry - we will be sharing images.
