Michael and Jasmine's story began about twenty years ago at Tijeras Creek Elementary School, where they were placed in the same fourth grade class. They continued to have classes together throughout their time at Las Flores Middle School, and eventually at Tesoro High School, where they would cross paths through the Swimming and Water Polo team. It was after Prom of their Junior year, where they sparked a friendship that lasted through the end of summer into their Senior year at Tesoro. During that summer they enjoyed getting boba, going on drives with the music up and the windows down, going to each others water polo games, and talking for hours. Jasmine began to develop a crush on Michael, as conversation had always felt so easy between the both of them. Once Senior year began, the topic of Homecoming was on the forefront of everyone's minds. Jasmine was extremely confident that Michael was going to ask her to be his date, but to her dismay, he had plans to ask someone else. Lets just say.. she was very humbled that day. But, to everyone's shock, Michael's date ended up having to cancel on him. Jasmine took it as a sign that she should just tell him how she really felt about him. On October 9th, 2013, Jasmine went and told Michael that she had feelings for him, to which he luckily shared that he had felt the same way about her. Fast forward ten years into the future, and they are so excited to finally be tying the knot!
