At Last our Happily Ever After

From Michael’s Perspective Cristi and I first met 20+ years ago (almost 30) the Central Valley way at El Presidente. LOL Some old bar in the 90’s. I remember seeing her and thinking “WOW!”. Once I finally got the courage to walk up and ask her for a dance we immediately felt a connection. We dated for a few months and I being a stupid young man managed to let her slip away. Like I said earlier 20+ years later as I found myself in kind of an emotionally lost position struggling with the loss of my beautiful mom, I remember opening up my phone and seeing this beautiful blast from the past practically throwing herself at me through the phone. Well that’s the way I interpreted it. But it read something like “Hello”. Same thing right? As Cristi and I rekindled our love I couldn’t help but think about what might have been. As I looked at my beautiful daughters and the man I am now compared to who I once was I immediately felt my moms presence and I could hear her say it’s all in gods plan. Cristi and I have been so blessed to have found each other again. There is a perfect song that came out during the earlier stages that sums it up. “On My Way To You”. Every curve, every ditch, every turn, every bridge, I left behind me up in smoke every fork in the road, it was all worth while, when I finally saw your smile, every highway, every heartbreak, every mountain, every mile. I thank god for that, I guess he always knew…. I was on my way to you!’ Thank you all for allowing me to share a part of our story . I know I have been overly blessed with this amazing, beautiful, strong, god fearing, family loving women! We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone as we come together on May 18th with all of our family and friends. From Cristi’s Perspective A love story exists that spans nearly three decades. It is our story Cristi and Michael , two souls whose paths crossed many years ago, reunited again as if it was destiny. It all began nearly 30 years ago, when Cristi and Michael first met. Our connection was instant, an undeniable attraction , and a spark that set our hearts ablaze. We dated for many months, cherishing the precious moments shared. But as life often does, it took us down separate paths. Both Michael and I went on to build our lives, embracing the joys and challenges that came our way. Years passed, and life took its twists and turns. Then, as if guided by an invisible force, call it fate, call it destiny, gods divine plan, or maybe even a Facebook friend request our paths crossed again. Before I knew it we found ourselves face to face, eyes locking in recognition. It was as if time stood still, all the years melted away, and that lingering ember sparked an amazing fire that burned hotter, and stronger than before. I discovered that despite the years apart, the connection remained unbreakable. My heart, scarred by time, recognized his. Together, we uncovered the layers of our love that had been dormant for so long. We cherish every moment, knowing that our journey was one that came with many lessons, that these lessons give us an appreciation of love and the power of second chances. Sometimes, love takes time, bonds forged over the years can be the strongest of all, and most importantly believing that all of this is part of the bigger plan. As we look into a future filled with hope and endless possibilities, we know that our story is far from over. Our love, rekindled after years of hard lessons and separation, will continue to grow, reminding us how blessed we are for this second chance. Our love story will forever be etched in the stars, two souls who found their way back to each other, in a different time frame and in different stages of our lives allowing us to truly appreciate and hold onto what we have
