Michael and Brook first met on a Saturday in 2013 at a party for Marching Band. Right away, Michael had Brook's attention and she wanted to get to know him more. Fast forward to that Monday, Brook found out that Michael was in the same Advanced Chemistry class! Since Brook needed all the help she could get with that class, she asked Michael to help her. It was great until they decided to pair up for a project, but Brook ended up doing all of the work since Michael had to work. Brook let that one slide which got them to talk more. The two decided to do a duet for WSMA and had to practice a lot! They began to grow closer and Brook really liked Michael Brook decided to ask Michael to the winter dance to which he said YES! Then, the day before the dance, on February 14th, 2014, Michael asked Brook to be his girlfriend and their love story started.
