Michael and I first crossed paths amidst the lively campus scene at Syracuse University back in 2013. As fate would have it, I was a wide-eyed freshman and he, a seasoned sophomore. Our chance encounter happened at a vibrant mixer event just before the iconic Juice Jam summer festival. From a simple 'hello,' our conversation flowed effortlessly, and we found ourselves inseparable throughout the entire concert. Little did we know, that spontaneous meeting would blossom into a love story for the ages.

On a beautiful Sunday over Memorial Day weekend, Michael planned a super sweet staycation at the amazing Commodore Perry estate in Austin, Texas. We had a lovely dinner reservation at this adorable on-site restaurant. On our way there from our room, he casually pulled me aside to this cozy spot with stunning flowers, a cute 'marry me' sign, and a sneaky photographer. And guess what? That's where Michael popped the big question! It was seriously a fairy tale moment that we'll never forget.
