Arcosanti is a unique and visionary location in central Arizona. Founded in 1970 by architect Paolo Soleri, Arcosanti is an experimental city that combines innovative architecture with sustainability. The city was designed with the belief that urban living could be both efficient and harmonious with nature, focusing on eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient designs. Arcosanti’s distinctive buildings are integrated into the landscape, creating a beautiful and futuristic environment that encourages sustainability and community. It’s a place where architecture meets nature, and we’re thrilled to celebrate our special day in such a one-of-a-kind location. We hope you’ll take time to explore this incredible space and experience the unique blend of art, design, and nature that makes Arcosanti so special.
Arcosanti is located in a rural area, about an hour from most major cities in Arizona. For the night of the wedding, we recommend staying at the nearby lodge (details listed on the travel page) or in a neighboring city like Prescott, Sedona, or Phoenix.
Because Arcosanti is a little over an hour away from the airport, if you are coming from outside of Arizona, you may want to rent a car or find someone to carpool with. We will also be offering a shuttle from Phoenix to Arcosanti the day of the wedding for those who cannot or do not wish to drive. More information on this is coming.
RSVPs will be accepted on this website when we send out our official invitations.
After the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour where appetizers will be served followed by a hearty and filling fully vegan dinner. Further dietary restrictions will be accommodated and will be asked for once we send out the invitations.
Our wedding style is cocktail or semi-formal—feel free to dress up, but comfort is key! The reception area is paved, but you may need to walk through a little desert terrain to get there, so we recommend comfortable shoes (block heels, wedges, boots, flats, or neutral-colored sneakers work great). Our colors are inspired by the desert—dusty purples, sage greens, sand tones, and soft metallics—so feel free to coordinate if you’d like, but it’s not required. Wear what makes you feel great, and be ready to celebrate under the stars!
