Pariser Platz, Berlin, Berlin 10117, Germany

Enjoy the city's best sights such as the Brandenburg Gate, victory column, checkpoint Charlie or Castle Bellevue (residence of the President of Germany). Conveniently, the bus line 100 will take you along most of the best sights or you take advantage of one of the many city tours.

Tiergarten Berlin

Tiergarten Berlin

From the zoo over the victory column to the Brandenburg gate. While Berlin has many different parks, this is probably one of the biggest ones.

Potsdam (Schloss Sanssouci)

Potsdam (Schloss Sanssouci)

Potsdam is a great day trip with its historic district, the parks and lakes as well as the castle and adjacent parks and guest properties of the former royal family. Use S7 and S1 to get their using public transportation or the highway!

If you feel for a little culture, the museum island probably the most variety of exhibitions surrounded by the river Spree. By the island you can find the Friedrichstrasse, which is great for shopping or the Monbijou park, one of the best places to have a drink and enjoy the end of the day.

THE STORY OF BERLIN

THE STORY OF BERLIN

This is a great exhibition about the over 1000 year old history of Berlin, right by the most famous shopping mile that takes you along the Memorial church to the famous shopping mall KaDeWe (shopping mall of the west).

Take a swim

Take a swim

Berlin, 14195, Germany

Although Berlin is not located by the sea, it has numerous opportunities to cool off and jump in one of the many lakes in and around Berlin. Within Berlin the southwest has many options such as Schlachtensee, Krumme Lanke or Wannsee that or all accessible through public transportation. Around Berlin you can either hop into the river Havel or pick one of the lakes in Brandenurg such as Motzener See, Mueggelsee, Schwielowsee.

Tempelhofer Feld

Tempelhofer Damm, Berlin, Berlin 12101, Germany
, +49 30 700906710

If you have never stood on an airport before, this airport is located in the south of Berlin and has been used by the western allies during the cold war when Russia shut off west Berlin to supply West Berlin groceries. This airport was planned and designed by Hitler but he never got to finish it. We highly recommend a tour through the terminal but if you just want to take the stroll, the airfield is since its closure in 2008 available to the public as a park.

Berliner Mauerweg (Walk/ride along the Berlin wall)

Berliner Mauerweg, Berlin, Berlin 13159, Germany

The walk/ride along the Berlin wall is a 160 km bike and walk way that takes you along the former location of the Berlin wall. While most areas took the wall pieces down, it allows you to have great views along the way. The Kirschbluetenallee (Cherry blossom avenue) in Teltow is especially nice during cherry blossom due to its 1000 cherry blossom trees.

For all the days along the way
