Within Berlin the southwest has many options such as Schlachtensee, Krumme Lanke or Wannsee that or all accessible through public transportation. If you have never stood on an airport before, this airport is located in the south of Berlin and has been used by the western allies during the cold war when Russia shut off west Berlin to supply West Berlin groceries. This airport was planned and designed by Hitler but he never got to finish it. We highly recommend a tour through the terminal but if you just want to take the stroll, the airfield is since its closure in 2008 available to the public as a park.
The walk/ride along the Berlin wall is a 160 km bike and walk way that takes you along the former location of the Berlin wall. While most areas took the wall pieces down, it allows you to have great views along the way. The Kirschbluetenallee (Cherry blossom avenue) in Teltow is especially nice during cherry blossom due to its 1000 cherry blossom trees.
