We met when we both worked at Target during our junior year of high school. We began to spend time together outside of work on the weekends with other coworkers. Mikey decided to ask Abby out at Target of course during her lunch break. We ended up having our first date at Subway after Mikey drove all the way to the mall and Abby thought it was too busy. After that we went on to date through high school and college.

After a stressful time waiting for the ring to be shipped to the house, Mikey finally received the ring the morning he and Abby left on a road trip to Colorado. On the way to Colorado, the conversation came up about getting married, but little did Abby know there was a ring two feet behind her in a backpack. We arrived at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado and it was a perfect day. We started our hike and took many pictures together. At the end of the hike, we got to a spot on a cliff that was perfect. We sat there for a moment and Mikey said "Wouldn't this be an amazing place to be proposed to?" Abby said "Yeah, this would be an amazing place to get engaged!" After a couple minutes of taking in the view, Mikey set up a camera so they could take a picture together. He then got on one knee and proposed to Abby.
