11 years ago, in downtown Boise, Idaho, the most beautiful girl I had ever seen walked into our youth group. We were both too shy to say anything, and I was too intimidated. Like any good awkward High Schoolers we just followed each other on social media. I could never forget her face, and believe to this day that deep down I knew she was the one for me.
10 years of social media following later, thinking she was wayyy out of my league, I finally gathered the courage to send her a message...from New Zealand. Shockingly, she responded. Several weeks before messaging her, I felt it was time to move back to Boise, so it was perfect timing. In May of 2022, we had our first in-person date, and it was immediate that this was the girl I could adore for the rest of my life.
