Father of the Bride
Micahās best asset is her wonderful happy heart, with her overwhelming warm smile. Not forgetting her facial enthusiastic expressions, sometimes comical, and serious if she needs to be. All in her cute way. I have many fond memories with Micah. Just to name a few. As a baby she would love to cuddle with her blanket when watching Tv and fall asleep. Something she still loves even as a women. Then there is the time she got up, crawled up the stairs then climb into her cot to go to sleep. That was a surprise for her mother and I. I can share much more just ask.
Father of the Groom
Samās best asset is his ability to change with time meaning he moves on and doesn't look back. Also, once he befriends you, you become his friend for life. He accepts people where they are and has grown into realizing how important family is. My fondest memory of my son was walking him to school on his first day.
Mother of the Bride
From a child Micah has cared about others and she is so generous with her time and love to family, friends and anyone that needs help. She has a naturalized ability to inspire others by her words and positive actions. She is very organized and whatever she sets her mind to, she doesnāt let any obstacles impede her from achieving her personal or professional goals. I love the woman she has grown into. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with my daughter Micah. The one Iāll recount now is our world wind 16days/14 country trip! This was the longest time we had spent together since she left home. It was filled with love, laughter, excitement, joy, and many new experiences, but we never argued once! I relive those memories often. Love you to the moon and back.
Mother of the Groom in Loving Memory
Maid of Honor
We met in 5th grade. I had just moved from New York to Orlando. So at first we didnāt hit it off. We were pretty competitive with each other and quite frankly didnāt like one another. The first day of Middle school, I walked into class and the first familiar face was Micah. So we sat with each other as if nothing had happened the year prior. From then on, we became partners in crime, sisters, inseparable for the rest of our lives. From our crazy childhood adventures to our adult adventures, I couldnāt have asked for a better bestie to have shared those memories with. An adventurous, ambitious and incredible women. I canāt wait to stand by your side as you marry the love of your life!
Best Man
We have been attached at the hip since age 6. Even though weāre first cousins weāre more like brothers. We always had each otherās back, we agreed to disagree but at the end of the day we still love each other. My most fond memory of us was the time we played karate. We used to fight over who was going to be Bruce Lee. It got so intense that we really started fighting each other. We felt so bad that we were actually fighting that we had to make up because we couldnāt stay mad at each other for long! Thatās the day I told myself that I would never fight my cousin, I would always have his back and fight for him no matter what the situation was. We will always be ten toes down. I will always be here for you Sam. Iām so proud of the man you have become and I wish and Micah lifelong blessings.
Matron of Honor
How do I fit a 32-year love story into a few sentences? I fell in love with Micah the moment I laid eyes on her chubby cheeks. Just like my admiration for her it has never waned. One of my favorite memories of Micah must be when she was about 3 and she was caught on the kitchen counter trying to get to the hidden sweets. She then spent the next 10 minutes trying to defend her actions. Yes, she had that fierce determination, and goal centricity even then. However, the reality is that all of my interactions with Micah are special to me ā from our almost daily calls/text to our numerous adventures. Because her passion and dedication, motivates me, her tremendous personal and professional growth, impresses me and her altruism and selflessness, inspires me. Like I said, I just adore my niece.

I met Sam in summer going into 7th grade playing basketball. I didn't like him first time we met cuz he was talking trash in the game and playing in brand new Jordan's. My fondest memory is definitely him sacrificing and making it to my wedding in Saipan when he had so much going on at that time. I needed him and he was there.

When I initially met Micah I wasnāt sure if weād get along because I immediately realized that we both had big personalities!! Little did I know I would be in for a ride!!!! Shortly after pledging, she and I moved in together and life has been lit ever since! I knew I loved her after she got surgery in college and I had to help her use the bathroom. I remember saying, āNow you gotta wipe bihhh, I AINT DOING THAT PART!ā Still one of my favorite memories is when she and I went skydiving for her 25th birthday! She was a thrill seeker and I was down for the cause! I wonāt be jumping out of anymore planes voluntarily, but Iām so glad I got to āget high on lifeā with my Mic!!!

Sam and I met in our freshman year of high school. There was a bunch of us that walked the same route home everyday and of that bunch, 5 of us (later known as The Squad) just started to lock in. Lots of memories made, but one of the fondest would be from gym class. We had the same gym class for at least 3 of the 4 years together at Rocky. Those were stress free times where nothing mattered but whatever sport we were playing at the time. I can remember one particular conversation after a 12th grade gym class that he asked for my input on which scholarship offer he should take. I had been there for his whole high school career rooting him on/living my "hoop dreams" through him, but I remember just being honored that he asked for my advice on such a heavy decision process.
Bridesmaid
A lifetime of sisterhood was created when we first unveiled ourselves as Alpha Kappa Alpha women together in 2009. Since then, weāve bonded over our love for experiencing other cultures through food, our undying love for ice cream and our passion for mentorship to young girls. My most cherished moments are of us adventuring the outdoors on bike rides, hiking trips or a day at the beach. Perhaps my most favorite memory is our white-water rafting trip to the Ocoee River in Tennessee or our girls trip to Breckenridge, CO. Thanks for being a ray of sunshine in my life; for pushing me to face my fears and to live life more full and abundantly! I love you.

Iāve known Sam for over 20 years. When we were kids, his uncle lived right across the street from my house. He and his cousin would show up on my block. They would cook my entire neighborhood in basketball with their Jordan 12ās on.Ā #neverforgetthepain. He is one of the few people in this world I can say I grew alongside in life. From young adolescents to now adulthood. True friendship is rare and I cherish ours greatly. Sam, I wish you the very best in this next chapter of your life.

Micah and I met sometime shortly after I was born so I dont remember lol. However, I have photo evidence of the torture she put me through, dressing me up and carrying me everywhere as a baby. My favorite memory with her was when we bougie backpacked thru 12 countries in 14 days. Micah is for sure one of my favorite travel buddies! š¤

Sam and I first met freshman year in college. It all started from just a cordial whats up in the school cafeteria. From there it went to living across from each other in the same dorm, to being roommates, and now brothers. Weāve had so many amazing moments together its hard to choose just one. Some of my fondest moments are watching and playing sports together, pushing each other in the gym, traveling the country, and having those in depth conversations about life. It means the world to me to be standing by your side as you begin this journey with Micah as husband and wife.

Unexpected Friendships are the best ones...That sums up Micah and I! I never thought 10 years ago, when Micah came for an interview, I would be meeting my Soul Sister for the first time. Weāve built an unbreakable bond based on loyalty, respect, and love. We have journeyed to so many new places together physically and emotionally. My favorite memory with Micah was when we visited Europe together! We had a blast! We created memories while traveling to different countries in Europe, eating different food, sightseeing and exploring European culture. I love having inspiring, motivational and heart-felt conversations with Micah. She takes time to understand my perspective of things as I do with her. Iām so excited and overwhelmed with joy to witness my soul sister marrying the love of her life.

I met Sam as we became roommates and teammates at Augustana College. Life changing moment for the both of us ever since the fall of 2004! Rock Island and Bettendorf brought two of the finest from the Quad Cities together with a lifetime brotherhood, friendship and bond thatās unbreakable.

I met the bride-to-be 13 years ago at Jacksonville Jaguars Cheerleader auditions. She stood out from the crowd and you couldnāt help but take notice. We didnāt speak on the first day of auditions but ran into each other that week on campus. We decided to practice together and that began our friendship and journey together. After over a decade of friendship, there are so many memories with Micah. One of my favorite memories would be our trip to Turks & Caicos in 2015. Micah invited me to dance in her friendās music video & perform at the festival. We went snorkeling, hung out on the beach, ate some great food and I truly enjoyed my time with her doing my favorite activity, dancing & performing.

I met Sam on his college visit to Augustana. He was the prospective player/guest of another player. Sam was quite comical back then. Mr.Rocawear himself. Literally had the shoes, belt, draws, socks, shirt, and bottoms smh......I donāt know what was bigger; his pants or his ego. He was competitive in every sense of the word. Anything you can do, I can do better, he embodied that saying. I donāt have one particular memory with him. Itās been an adventure during these 10 plus years. From fights, partying, to bailing me out of unideal situations lol.... By far one of the most loyal and dependable dudes Iāve EVER met.

I remember watching Micah killing it on the court for the UNF dance team back in 2006. I thought "wow, she's so good!" I later met Micah in 2007 at an NFL cheer audition. We immediately connected seeing each other as familiar faces in a sea of unfamiliar women. That connection was the genesis for what would become a life long bond of sisterhood! My favorite memory of Micah was when we traveled to Peru. My grandmother prepared a Peruvian dish and Micah ate the entire meal then glanced at me saying "look, I've finished ā and I don't even eat sweet potatoes." Knowing how finicky she can be, I laughed really hard. However, I admired how considerate Micah was to finish my grandmother's food to avoid being rude. It was a testiment to Micah's character.

Sam & I met in 2005 - at Augustana - my freshmen year of college. We lived in 1J - Oliver, Sam, Chandlor, Took, Marcus, etc. and immediately became family. Thereās been so many memories from the dorm days, road trips, Chicago weekends, joint birthday parties, to LIMITLESS, and more. One thing that has never changed with Sam is the brotherhood that he cherishes. Whether you are actually blood or not, if Sam says you are his guy, you are HIS GUY. One vivid memory is when Sam came to Singapore. It wasnāt a cheap trip, the timing was not ideal - and it still didnāt matter to him. He was coming. He never let me grow away from our guys- even though I was on the other side of the world for 2 years and came through to spend time with me, reassured me that I am HIS GUY & heās my guy for life.
