With matching tents side by side for six months of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail together, Julie is my best friend. I've known Jules since we were three years old. We became neighbors at seven, and between dance classes, backpacking with our dads, and sleeping on her trampoline about a hundred times, we have more than lasted the test of time. Talk about a best man! Josh and my story started at a church summer camp when I was 10 years old. Josh's heart is gold, his spirit is alive and he can get 37 tax issues solved in seconds. He brings light and kindness to any situation, encouraging people with his zest for life. I am honored to have this remarkable man standing next to me on the big day. Josh has been crushing it at Ernst & Young in Seattle for the past two years, where he lives with his wonderful FIANCE Whitney!

Nelleke Meerman

Nel and I knew each other from middle school and became close after I moved up to the east bay in high school. This is a testament to how steadfast she is as a friend. She has flown to visit me wherever I am every year since we were 14 and will laugh and cry with me on facetime for five hours at a time whenever I need it. Nelleke wears her love for her people so that everyone can see it. Open-hearted to everyone that she meets, Nel will always make you feel seen and loved.

Ben Wills

The eldest Wills boy who set the groundwork for Eli and I. Ben lives for the finer things in life and has been setting the trends for the past 29 years. You can count on Ben for exquisite homemade meals and the best commentary during classic films. He is the best artist I know (check out the illustration on the homepage!), check out his work @willsbenjamin. Ben is currently living in Chicago and getting his Masters in Social Work Policy from the University of Chicago!

After Em and I decided to stop hating each other in high school, we became inseparable. She has impeccable taste and the best sense of humor, we always pick up just where we left off no matter how much distance is between us. Because of this, I trust Emma with her opinion on just about anything. She is the best shoulder to cry on and my favorite person to have a cocktail with. Wildly intelligent and empathetic, I will sit in a hot tub talking with her until we're old and grey.

Eli Wills

Aka frubbles, aka squeek, aka middle child. If Eli were a video game character he would be an adventuring wizard. From Seattle, to Berlin, to New York, to Joshua Tree, and back to Seattle, he has been bringing people together with his groovy tunes and stylin' shoes (his work can be found at @eliwills_). With roots in musical theater, you can find Eli slinging and slanging DJ sets (he is our wedding DJ) in Seattle!

Sam was the very first friend that I made when I moved to the east bay. Whether we were sneaking out to party or staying in to have a sleepover and watch Vampire Diaries every Thursday, we were always having a blast. Sammy is the most loyal person I have ever met and she never fails to make sure that everyone feels included and is having a good time. Always an encourager and a listening ear, she is someone that I will always turn to.

Rachel Bige

RB is my oldest and dearest friend. Meeting each other in Mrs. Davies 2nd grade class (shoutout Fairwood) Rachel has consistently been a true friend. I can always count on Rachel to be the most honest and kind; to always say what needs to be said. Rachel's laugh is infamous and infectious, she is the friend you want around at every party. Rachel is living in the Seattle area and is climbing her way to the top at a Brazilian restaurant in Bellevue!

Kate Drake is loved by everyone who has ever met her. She is generous to her core, filled with humility, and deeply kind. After a trip to her cabin during the beginning and height of the pandemic, she became a close and clear life-long friend to both of us. We soon became college roommates and even now while living far apart, she shows up for us and everyone else she holds close in incredible ways all of the time.

Life would not be the same in Denver Colorado without Riley. The perfect mix of chill and goofy, Riley will make anyone feel included by inviting them in. Somehow, Riley has a natural knack for life and is a pro at anything he tries all while staying the most humble. We have been discovering the best of Denver together all while learning the true meaning of patience while teaching math for the same school district.

Alexa is the fastest friend I think I have ever made, friendship felt immediately comfortable and easy. She has made living in Denver so great, I can't imagine it without her. Alexa is so driven and intelligent, but is also so down-to-earth and brings levity to any situation. From workout classes to Twilight marathons, she makes the monotony of everyday life fun. I hope to always live close enough to walk over to her place with a bottle of wine.

Whitney is an absolute light who came into our lives through the best man, Joshua(they are now engaged!!). We met on a road-trip-double-date across the country which immediately sparked a forever friendship. The four of us are committed to taking trips together each year which is such a gift. Whitney makes us laugh like nobody else, loves deeply, and is always up for anything. Her deep-seated joy is such a beautiful model for Micah and me.
