What airport do I fly into?

Answer

The Island of Oahu's airport is located in Honolulu and is known as airport code HNL. If you sign up for emails from Southwest Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines or Alaska Airlines, you may find some great discounted rates. Searching for flights via Google Flights is also helpful. Be sure to ask Google flights to send you email updates for the routes you are looking at and they will email you weekly price updates.

How far is Laie, Hawaii from Honolulu?

Answer

The wedding events will take place in or around Laie, Hawaii. Laie is located about 45-60 minutes from Honolulu, depending on traffic. It is still feasible to stay in Waikiki or greater Honolulu and drive to Laie for wedding events. Waikiki hotels may be more affordable than hotel and Airbnbs on the North Shore/Laie area.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Yes. A car is vital to see the sights of Oahu. Oahu is 44 miles (70 km) long and 30 miles (48 km) wide, and has 227 miles (363 km) of shoreline.

What is the weather like in November on Oahu?

Answer

The weather is typically mild and comfortable, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s during the day to the low 70s at night. Nights can be chilly during this time of year and our wedding events will be outside the evening of November 2nd so you may want to bring a light jacket or sweater.

Will HEAT STROKE perform at the wedding reception?
